Leading casino and sports betting content developer International Games Technology (IGT) has announced it will be expanding its sports betting presence in Nevada and Colorado through a new agreement with Monarch Casino & Resort.
Two Major Venues
Per the new agreement, IGT’s PlaySports platform and trading advisory services will power retail and mobile sports betting options at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada, and the Monarch Casino Resort Spa in Black Hawk, Colorado.
These are two hugely popular venues within their respective states, helping IGT’s PlayStar Platform further enhance its position as a popular sports betting provider focused on offering the best sports betting experience to players.
The new collaboration will see Monarch Casino & Resort launch two new sportsbook apps: Atlantis NV Sports and BetMonarch Colorado. Both will use IGT’s leading sports betting technology.
This comes after IGT’s platform was recognised as ‘Sportsbook Platform Provider of the Year’ at the EGR North America Awards.
Increasing Player Engagement and Value
Both Monarch Casino & Resort and IGT have expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership. Speaking as part of a press release, Steve Mikkelson, Corporate Director of Race and Sports for Monarch Casino & Resort, said that the company was excited to add Atlantis and Monarch Black Hawk patrons to the elevated sports betting experience offered by IGT PlaySports.
