Las Vegas Grand Prix Betting Tips

After the chaos of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix last time out, Drivers’ Championship frontrunner Max Verstappen will be hoping for more success at Sunday’s Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Rain played a substantial role in Brazil, as Verstappen held his nerve to claim a much-needed win in Sao Paulo, while title rival Lando Norris had to settle for sixth after several costly errors.

Verstappen will be crowned world champion if he can leave Las Vegas with a lead of 60 points or more in the Drivers’ Championship, but perhaps Norris can keep the title race going for at least another week.

Norris Can Respond To Sao Paulo Struggles

It was a masterful performance from Red Bull star Verstappen to claim the chequered flag in Brazil, with the Dutchman coping with the wet conditions superbly.

The Sao Paulo Grand Prix saw Verstappen end a 10-race winless streak and took him a significant step closer to a fourth Drivers’ Championship title.

However, it’s fair to say rain won’t be an issue in the bone-dry conditions in Nevada this weekend and Norris has a shot at beating Verstappen to the top of the podium on Sunday.

Already claiming a maiden win on American soil this year at the Miami Grand Prix while also finishing in fourth at the US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, Norris has enjoyed some strong performances stateside this year.

Norris won the night race at Singapore on a street circuit earlier this season and can back that up on the Las Vegas Strip this weekend.

With Verstappen’s Red Bull struggling to have the same speed in drier conditions, McLaren ace Norris can land a fourth race win of the season to keep the title race going for at least another week.

Piastri Can Complete Strong Mclaren Weekend

After three straight podium finishes in Italy, Azerbaijan and Singapore, Oscar Piastri will be eager to make a return to the top three again this weekend.

While Norris has been grabbing plenty of the headlines with his efforts this season, McLaren team-mate Piastri can be rightly proud of the performances he’s put in this term.

Having already finished on the podium seven times this season, the Australian will be hoping that a strong display in qualifying can help him get back in the top three on Sunday.

Piastri finished third on the streets of Singapore in the night race earlier this season and is good value for a podium finish on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.

Gasly Can Impress Again

Few would have predicted Pierre Gasly finishing on the podium in Sao Paulo last time out, but the Frenchman made the most of his chances in the wet conditions in Brazil.

That result in Sao Paulo was Gasly’s seventh finish in the points this season and the Alpine driver looks capable of recording another top-10 finish this weekend in Nevada.

Gasly just missed out on the points at the Las Vegas Grand Prix last year in 11th spot and looks capable of going one better this time around after a confidence-boosting performance in Brazil.
