Industry-leading games developer Play’n Go is set to expand its presence in Ontario thanks to a new partnership with popular operator PointsBet.
PointsBet is quickly becoming one of the most popular operators in North America, boasting a strong presence in both the United States and Canada. Adding a top-tier provider like Play’n Go to its roster is only going to increase its popularity.
The online games producer is one of the most recognisable games in the business. The company created many popular slot game series such as Book of Dead, Rich Wilde, and Rise Of Olympus.
This news rounds off a year of Play’n Go expansion in Canada. The Swedish iGaming providers announced their arrival in Quebec in May this year through an exclusive deal with the state-operated online casino Loto-Québec.
Expansion in Canada and Australia has led to an increase in revenue for Play’n Go. They reported an increase in revenue of 17% for the fiscal year that ended on June 30. In Canada alone, the company saw significant growth as the net total win rose by 86%.

Magnus Olsson, Chief Commercial Officer at Play'n GO, first announced Play’n Go’s intentions to establish itself as a leading name in North America in 2022, and he believes that this deal is an example of the company's commitment. Olsson said, “We've proudly watched our games become instant hits in our two and a half years in the Ontarian region, and we have no plans to slow down any time soon.”
