International games have become a staple of the NFL season, and that continues in the 2024-25 season with five games overseas. They’ll be in three countries, and we’ve provided each matchup for you here.

September 6: Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles (Corinthians Arena, São Paulo, Brazil)

Just a day after the 2024-25 NFL season kicks off overall with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Baltimore Ravens, we have two NFC teams hopeful to make the Super Bowl, as the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles will go head to head in Brazil. This marks the first time the NFL will be played in South America.

Following a Super Bowl appearance two seasons ago, the Eagles had one of the worst collapses in NHL history, ultimately ending in a blowout Wild Card Round loss. Conversely, the Green Bay Packers surged at the end of the season, leading to an incredible upset over the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round.

October 6: New York Jets vs. Minnesota Vikings (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium; London, England)

The staple of the NFL International Series has been London, and we get our first game in England on October 6. As expected, the New York Jets will be featured as much as possible with the prospect of a QB Aaron Rodgers revenge tour.

As for the Vikings, they’ll be starting a new chapter without QB Kirk Cousins, but one that comes after making WR Justin Jefferson the highest-paid non-QB in league history. Whether it’s rookie QB JJ McCarthy under center for the Vikings, Sam Darnold or otherwise, this is a matchup where all eyes will be on the signal callers.

October 13: Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Chicago Bears (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium; London, England)

The action in London continues in the same stadium just a week later with the proverbial home team Jacksonville Jaguars. Since the NFL International Series began, they have been the crowd favorites thanks to their many appearances.

Not only are the Bears in the NFC North with the Vikings, but like Minnesota, they too are starting a new chapter after trading QB Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers. It will be interesting to see the storylines surrounding #1 overall pick QB Caleb Williams once we hit this point in the season. Still, there’s no doubt that he’s coming into one of the best situations possible for a young QB with WRs Keenan Allen, DJ Moore and Rome Odunze.

October 20: New England Patriots vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (Wembley Stadium; London, England)

It should be no surprise to see the Jags back in London after what we just mentioned, but this time in the other premier stadium in England. They’ll be taking on the New England Patriots, who are yet another team that recently moved on from their QB in Mac Jones.

After taking QB Drake Maye with the #3 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, he’ll be dueling one of the top QB prospects in recent years with Jacksonville QB Trevor Lawrence. The outlook for these franchises has flip-flopped from expectations before the past few seasons, which is why we see the Jags as significant favorites looking ahead to this matchup.

November 10: New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers (Allianz Arena; Munich, Germany)

The final leg of the NFL International Series transitions to Germany, where the league went for the first time last season. It was another smashing success, so a return to the home stadium of Bayern Munich is in order.

We’ll have another New York team featured, who opted not to draft a QB high in the 2024 NFL Draft to replace Daniel Jones. Instead, we’ll watch him link up with rookie WR Malik Nabers while the Panthers feature the 2023 #1 overall pick looking to avoid the sophomore slump in QB Bryce Young.

These two franchises have been struggling to be relevant come the NFL playoffs, so with this matchup taking place in November, it will be a pivotal one for both teams.
