The Premier League action comes thick and fast this week, with another five games scheduled in midweek after Tuesday's entertainment.

Title rivals Arsenal and Manchester City are both in action on Wednesday, with the Gunners hosting Luton Town at 19:30, while City welcome Aston Villa to the Etihad Stadium at 20:15.

Sandwiched in between those fixtures is Brentford's meeting with Brighton, while on Thursday, league leaders Liverpool entertain Sheffield United, and Chelsea take on Manchester United.

  • Over 3.5 Arsenal goals v Luton
  • Brentford v Brighton - Draw and BTTS
  • Manchester City to beat Aston Villa and Under 2.5 goals
  • Mohamed Salah to score two or more v Sheffield United
  • Chelsea v Manchester United - Draw and BTTS

Arsenal vs Luton

Arsenal will get the chance to go top of the Premier League table for 24 hours at least if they beat Luton Town on Wednesday, which they should without hassle.

The Gunners are unbeaten in nine Premier League matches after Sunday's goalless draw against Manchester City, while opponents Luton come into the game on a 10-match winless run in all competitions.

Mikel Arteta's side ran out 4-3 winners when the two teams met at Kenilworth Road in December, and they should rack up the goals once again against the Hatters.

Arsenal have won four in a row at home, scoring 14 goals during that time, while Luton have conceded 15 goals in their last five games on the road in the Premier League.

OVER 3.5 ARSENAL GOALS

Brentford vs Brighton

Brentford will hope to ease their relegation fears by beating Brighton on Wednesday, but their inability to keep clean sheets should dash their hopes.

The Bees have only kept four clean sheets all season, and coincidentally, so have opponents Brighton.

Brighton have been inconsistent all season under Roberto De Zerbi, but they pushed Liverpool all the way at Anfield in their recent 2-1 defeat.

They will expect to score against Brentford's leaky defence, but Thomas Frank's men showed plenty of fight against Manchester United.

Neither side can defend, and this looks like it could end in a high-scoring draw.

DRAW AND BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

Manchester City vs Aston Villa

Manchester City will look to move clear of fourth-placed Aston Villa with a win on Wednesday.

The Citizens are three points behind Liverpool in the race for the title, and they have been in fine form of late. Pep Guardiola's men are unbeaten in 23 matches in all competitions, and they have kept successive clean sheets in all competitions.

That bodes well for the visit of Aston Villa, who will be without star striker Ollie Watkins. The England international has 16 goals to his name for the season and it is tough to see Villa scoring without him leading the line.

However, it is likely that Guardiola will tweak his starting XI or make some early subs if his team are in the lead, as he tries to manage their workload.

Another clean sheet will do his team the world of good at this stage of the season, and City will be eager to just keep things tight at the back against Unai Emery's side.

MAN CITY TO WIN AND UNDER 2.5 GOALS

Liverpool vs Sheffield United

Jurgen Klopp will be licking his lips at the prospect of facing rock-bottom Sheffield United on Thursday as his team try to move one step closer to the league title.

The gulf in class will be evident from the outset, and this could be another bad night at the office for the Blades.

Chris Wilder's side have conceded 77 goals, the most in the league, in 29 matches, and they will do well to keep this score respectful.

Sheffield United have conceded five or more goals in matches on seven occasions this season, and winger Salah will be at the heart of Liverpool's attacks.

The Egyptian had 12 shots against Brighton, the most he has ever had in a Premier League game, and he is clearly hungry for more goals.

Against Sheffield United, he should get even more joy, and the Blades' inability to defend will help Salah add to his tally for the season.

SALAH TO SCORE 2 OR MORE GOALS

Chelsea vs Manchester United

Chelsea and Manchester United will look to boost their hopes of qualifying for Europe with a win at Stamford Bridge on Thursday evening.

The two teams do have games in hand on several teams around them in the table, but time is running out for both sides.

United are eight points and six places better off than the Blues, but Mauricio Pochettino's side have played one game less than the Red Devils.

The Blues have found some consistency of late, only losing two of their previous 10, but they have struggled to keep the ball out of the net.

Three of their last four games have ended as score draws, while United were held to a 1-1 draw by Brentford on Saturday night.

Erik ten Hag's side have scored in six successive away games in the Premier League, but it is hard to back them to win considering their inconsistent campaign.

The one thing that does look certain is both teams can find the net, they may just have to share the points though at full-time.
