Whilst some rivalries are born from mutual respect for each other's prowess, some are fuelled by deep-set hatred and can boil over in moments of high drama.

But what are the biggest rivalries in the recent history of sport? By studying individual and team rivalries in a multitude of different sports across the globe Gambling Zone CA has revealed the biggest sorting rivals!

The Most Searched Individual Rivalries

1. Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk (Boxing), 6.35 Million Annual Searches:

When it comes to individual rivalries fighting sports is perhaps the most intent, as both competitors know they are going in to try and knock the other out. The heavyweight boxing champion of the world is often considered the “baddest man on the planet”, and that honour is currently bestowed upon Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, who unified the division when he beat Tyson Fury in May 2024.
