Steam Squad Symbols and Design
One of the best things about the Steam Squad slot game is its highly detailed design. The game opens in what looks like a kind of steampunk Atlantis, then we are transported in some kind of machine to a place high up in the clouds. 19th century buildings with a futuristic twist are visible through the windows of our vessel, as well as blimps and strange-looking hot air balloons.
The soundtrack is like a cross between the beginning of a film and on-hold music, although it does pick up the pace once you land a win. Although the music is not my favourite thing about the game, it is pretty inoffensive and can easily be turned off if it is not to your taste.
The symbols on the reels include a bearded older man, a red-headed lady, a purple-haired boy and a dog - all wearing steampunk-style flying goggles, of course.

Steam Squad is a very aesthetically pleasing slot game that does a great job of transporting us to a futuristic-yet-Victorian steampunk world. The design and animations are the stand-out feature of this game, and it will certainly appeal to fans of all things steampunk.In terms of gameplay, this slot has enough bonus features to keep things semi-interesting. However, it has to be said that this does not feel like the most exciting game to play, and I found myself getting tired of it fairly quickly.
It would have been nicer to see a higher maximum win too, since 3,235x feels a little low compared to other similar games. The RTP of 95.64% is decent, and will make it an attractive option for many players. In sum, this is an enjoyable slot game with a great design, although unless you are a steampunk fan you may find it somewhat forgettable.
