It is fair to say that the design of the Temple of Iris slot is far from its biggest selling point. The slot game uses a static background, with a sandy-looking sky sitting behind reels that use a simple golden and slightly patterned border.
The reels themselves are populated with standard Egyptian symbols, including the Eye of Horus, a sphinx, and a serpent. There are some very basic sound effects that take place when you spin the reels, but you will probably enjoy it more with the sound turned off.
The Pyramid symbol acts as the game’s scatter and triggers the Free Spins round. It is also the most valuable symbol, paying out 450x your stake if you land five across a payline.

Eyecon likes to keep games simple, and Temple of Iris definitely fits that mould. The game offers very little visually, and the gameplay is not particularly original. However, a maximum win of 1,500x your stake is not terrible, and the free spins round can provide some entertainment and good winning opportunities if you can retrigger it a few times. Sadly, though, when you are playing Temple of Iris, you can not help but think of better, more engaging Egyptian-themed titles.
