Find out where the value lies when the league phase of the Champions League continues with matchday five this week.

The Champions League table is already starting to take shape, with Liverpool the only team to have won all of their opening four matches.

The new format was brought in to make the competition more competitive in its early stages and that has certainly been the case after the first four matchdays.

And there could be more surprises on the cards this week with 18 matches taking place across Tuesday and Wednesday.

There are some eye-catching fixtures on Tuesday, with Bayern Munich taking on Paris Saint-Germain and Sporting Lisbon hosting Arsenal, while on Wednesday Liverpool take on Real Madrid and Celtic clash with Club Brugge.

Bet On The Champions League

Inter Milan vs Leipzig

Leipzig could somewhat be excused for their dreadful start to this season's Champions League because of their fine performances in the Bundesliga.

However, it now looks as though the Red Bulls are slipping domestically as well.

Leipzig have gone three games without a win in the Bundesliga, losing 4-3 to struggling Hoffenheim on Saturday after a 2-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund and a 0-0 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Those results have put them on the back foot in the title race and they cannot draw much inspiration from their performances in the Champions League, in which they have lost all four of their matches.

Leipzig lost by single-goal margins against each of Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Liverpool before suffering a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Celtic earlier this month.

The continued absence of key creative outlet Xavi Simons is hindering the Red Bulls, who may struggle to even get on the scoresheet against Inter Milan at the San Siro on Tuesday.

Inter are fresh from a 5-0 pummeling of Verona and are yet to concede in the Champions League this term, shutting out Manchester City and Arsenal, so they could record a win to nil.

INTER MILAN TO WIN TO NIL

Sporting Lisbon vs Arsenal

Following a run of just one win in five games, Arsenal got their season back on track on Saturday with an impressive 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

Given Manchester City were thumped 4-0 by Tottenham, it was an important result for the Gunners, but they are unlikely to have things all their own way against Sporting Lisbon.

Ruben Amorim departed Sporting for Manchester United this month but his replacement Joao Pereira inherits a strong squad of players.

His first game in charge was a 6-0 thrashing of Amarante in the fourth round of the Taca de Portugal and, while that should be taken with a pinch of salt, the team's performances in the Champions League have been encouraging.

In Amorim's last continental game in charge, Sporting thrashed Manchester City 4-1 and they have also recorded wins against Lille and Sturm Graz either side of a 1-1 draw away to PSV.

With home advantage on their side, they can avoid defeat against an Arsenal team who have not been entirely convincing of late.

SPORTING OR DRAW DOUBLE CHANCEL

Young Boys vs Atalanta

Atalanta have emerged as Napoli's closest title challengers in Serie A and they are also going well in the Champions League.

La Dea sank Stuttgart 2-0 last time out and have collected eight points from their four matches.

They are one of just two teams yet to concede in this season's Champions League and their watertight rearguard can keep the score down when they face Young Boys.

The Swiss hosts are not exactly a team renowned for firing in goals, having drawn blanks against Aston Villa, Barcelona and Inter in the Champions League this term and this game could feature under 3.5 goals.

UNDER 3.5 GOALS

Bologna vs Lille

Lille navigated a potentially challenging league fixture with Rennes on Sunday, winning 1-0 against the team now managed by Jorge Sampaoli, and they can follow up with a win away to Bologna.

Lille have posted some eye-catching results in this season's Champions League, taking down Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid back-to-back before a 1-1 draw with Juventus on matchday four.

At the back they have looked reasonably solid, conceding only 11 times in 12 Ligue 1 matches this term, while they carry a serious attacking threat with Jonathan David up top.

As for Bologna, they have steadied the ship slightly in terms of their league form, although they were thumped 3-0 by Lazio on Sunday.

And in Europe, things have not gone well for the Serie A outfit, who followed a goalless draw with Shakhtar Donetsk in their opener with three defeats to Liverpool, Aston Villa and Monaco, failing to score in any of those fixtures.

LILLE TO WIN

Celtic vs Club Brugge

Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic have been more competitive in this season's Champions League than many may have expected and they should prevail at home to Club Brugge.

Celtic have accrued a healthy seven points from their opening four matches - a haul which puts them in contention for the knockout stages.

And, while a 7-1 hammering away to Borussia Dortmund dampened enthusiasm on matchday two, they are stern opposition when playing on their own patch, having beaten both Slovan Bratislava and Leipzig at home in the Champions League already this season.

They will be well aware their chances of progressing to the next phase could hinge on their remaining home performances and they should see off the Belgians.
