How to play MultiBet Baccarat

Multibet Baccarat

At the start of the game, MultiBet Baccarat offers you a choice between two versions of the game: Commission or No Commission. We’ll take a closer look at these in the next section.

The game is played with 8 standard 52-card decks, and revolves around two hands of cards: Banker and Player. The aim is to predict which hand’s total value will be closest to 9 at the end of the round.

You have around 15 seconds to choose from three core wagers:

  • Banker
  • Player
  • Tie

Beyond these main bet options, you can also place optional side bets (which we’ll get to later).

The dealer places two cards on both the Banker and Player sections of the table. If the Banker or Player’s cards are nearer to 9 than the other, players who predicted correctly win. If both card hands add up to the same total number, it’s a tie.

Only the second digit counts if either the Banker or Player cards total more than 10 (e.g. when cards add up to 12, the total becomes 2 instead).

Dealers may add a third card in some cases, depending on the card totals. This follows general baccarat third-card rules. For example, players will take an extra card if the total value is between 0 and 5.

Finally, the dealer compares both card hands and the score closest to 9 wins.

Different MultiBet Baccarat Versions

In MultiBet Baccarat, you can switch between Commission and No Commission versions of the game with ease.

Banker wins have a 5% commission applied to them in the Commission version. But in the No Commission option, Banker wins are paid 1:1 — yet just 50% of the bet is paid when the Banker wins with a six.

MultiBet Baccarat Features & Side Bets

When you play MultiBet Baccarat, you can choose from various optional side bets. However, all side bets are deactivated once the dealing shoe reaches 50% to prevent players from exploiting certain ones (as they would have a better idea of the remaining cards).

The side bets are:

  • Perfect Pairs — The first two cards in either hand will have the same suit and value (a perfect pair).
  • Player/Banker Pair — The first two cards dealt to the Banker or Player make a pair.
  • Either Pair — The Banker or Player’s hands feature a pair.
  • Banker/Player Natural 8 or 9 — The first two cards dealt to the Banker or Player add up to an 8 or 9.
  • Total points above or below 9.5 — Pays out if the final totals are above or below 9.5.
  • Big/Small — Big pays when the final number of cards is 5 or 6. Small pays when there are 4 cards.
  • Player/Banker Dragon Bonus — Pays based on the points difference between the winning and non-winning hand.
  • Player and Banker Pair Combination — Pairs may be of the same colour, perfect, or mixed.
  • Panda 8 — The winning player has a hand with 3 cards worth 8 in total.
  • Dragon 7 — The Banker’s hand wins with 3 cards adding up to 7 in total.
  • Super 6 — In the No Commission version, the Super 6 side bet pays when the Banker wins the round with a hand worth 6 in total.

MultiBet Baccarat Final Thoughts

MultiBet Baccarat is well worth a try for casual players and seasoned fans of baccarat games. Some elements of the UI aren’t quite as dazzling as they could have been, though, and the game can look a little bit bland at times because of that. Still, despite that, there’s lots to recommend MultiBet Baccarat.

Specifically, you can choose from a wide range of betting options with diverse side bets available, and the opportunity to play in Commission or No Commission mode will broaden its appeal. The RTP can be very high, too, depending on your wagering choices.
