How to Play Unlimited Blackjack

Unlimited-Blackjack

In Unlimited Blackjack , your goal is to beat the dealer by getting the value of your hand as close to 21 as you can without exceeding that number (going bust).

The game is played with eight decks at a table with space for five betting positions. If you want to, you can play up to five hands at once. The Bet Behind feature allows any number of players to use the same spot at the table (we’ll take a closer look at it later in our Unlimited Blackjack Features and Side Bets section).

To get started, choose your stake and place your wager on one or more betting positions. You can also make an optional side bet at this point.

Once all bets are placed, two face-up cards are dealt to each of the five spots, and two to the dealer themselves (one card up, the other down). Based on the value of your first two cards, you can hit, stand, split, or double down. The dealer always stands on soft and hard 17.

Unlimited Blackjack automatically splits certain pairs, and you can either accept it or fold to receive 80% of your initial wager back. If you accept the split, a bet that matches the original one is applied to the second hand created.

If you feel the first two cards dealt to you are strong enough to potentially create a win, you can double down on them. A third card is dealt to you, and an additional bet that matches your original bet is applied.

Unlimited Blackjack Features & Side Bets

Unlimited Blackjack includes the innovative Bet Behind feature that enables limitless players to get involved. You can also use two types of side bets on top of your main wager. These can lead to bigger payouts, but have a lower RTP than the main bet.

Let’s find out how the Bet Behind feature and side bets work.

Bet Behind Feature

The Bet Behind feature conveniently allows more than one player to wager at the same seat. However, if you bet on a player’s hand and they decide not to play, your wager will be returned.

Only the seated player can make decisions about whether to hit, stand, etc., so if you want to take control of the action, it may be best to wait for a seat to open up.

21+3 Side Bet

The 21+3 side bet allows you to wager on the possibility of your initial two cards and the dealer’s face-up card forming a poker hand.

The poker hands possible are:

  • Flush — three cards of the same suit
  • Straight — three cards in consecutive sequence
  • Three of a Kind — three cards of identical rank
  • Straight Flush — three cards of the same suit in consecutive order
  • Suited Three of a Kind — three cards of the same rank and suit

See the Unlimited Blackjack Payouts section for the payouts available for each poker hand. The 21+3 side bet’s RTP is 96.30%.

Player Pairs Side Bet

The Player Pairs side bet pays out if you create one of three pair types: Coloured Pair, Red/Black Pair, or Perfect Pair. The Player Pairs side bet is 95.90%.

Unlimited Blackjack Payouts

The payouts available in Unlimited Blackjack vary significantly. The 21+3 and Perfect Pairs side bets can award the biggest payouts in the game, but increase the level of risk you take on.

Playtech Unlimited Blackjack Final Thoughts

Unlimited Blackjack’s biggest draws are the capacity for infinite players and the Bet Behind feature. If you feel frustrated when waiting for seats to open up in online blackjack games, now you can start wagering straight away (though you’ll still have to wait to take control of a hand).

Otherwise, Unlimited Blackjack is similar to any number of other high-quality live blackjack games. The two side bets offer more variety beyond the main bet, but their RTPs are a fair bit lower than the main game’s RTP. There are some decent payouts available, but various other live games can generate higher wins if you’re looking for massive prizes.
