Monopoly Big Baller Review

The Bonus Game plays a major part in Monopoly Big Baller. For a chance to play this, you need to place a bet on one or both of the bonus cards during the betting phase. The Bonus Game begins when a bonus card that you wagered on achieves a full house.

The Bonus Game awards either three or five rolls depending on which bonus card you bet on (the silver card is labelled with three rolls, the gold with five). 

Monopoly Big Baller’s Bonus Game features a virtual world based on the board game, with stunning 3D graphics. Mr Monopoly walks around the board, moving a specific number of spaces as determined by rolls of the dice. He picks up multiplier wins for you as he goes. 

Roll a double to get an extra roll, and pass Go to double the value of all properties on the board. Community Chest spaces may award an instant prize. Watch out for the Jail space, though, as you can’t grab win multipliers if you are locked away.

Monopoly Big Baller appears to be available 24/7, though I could find no information on its operating hours.  No options to change the UI language from English are available either. The hosts all present the game in fluent English. 

As with other Evolution Live games, Monopoly Big Baller is fronted by fun presenters who help to keep the atmosphere light and the experience engaging for players. They are always dressed in a thematic costume for Monopoly Big Baller: a smart nautical outfit, with different looks for the men and women. They match Mr Monopoly, who is dressed as the riverboat’s captain. 

Multiple cameras follow the action while you play. The main view shows the presenter, the bingo machine, and Mr Monopoly. It may switch to another shot frequently, whether the balls are being drawn or Mr Monopoly is pulling the lever before a game. 

The background scene presents a highly detailed river environment, with rippling water, trees, and colourful buildings in the background. It is a beautifully designed game that looks terrific from start to finish.

Monopoly Big Baller has medium volatility, so its prizes and payout frequency are more balanced than in games with low or high volatility. You may be unable to create winning lines during each game, but there is the potential to trigger the Bonus Game and the maximum win is capped at £500,000. 

The multipliers added to your bingo cards during each game determines how much you could win depending on the lines you complete. For example, a multiplier of 100x would increase your winning potential significantly. In the Bonus Game, each property has its own multiplier of up to 125x, so you could win big payouts by the time this ends.

Evolution Live is known for creating live games of a particularly high standard, and Monopoly Big Baller is a shining example of their capabilities. This one of the most visually impressive live game shows we have seen, and is a new take on the Monopoly licence. The design is outstanding, and the base gameplay is easy to pick up. One nice touch that stands out is Mr Monopoly applying multipliers and free spaces to cards at the start of each round, which can increase your chances of completing lines.

The Bonus Game is fun and offers big winning opportunities, but it may seem a little bit limited compared to other live game shows that boast more comprehensive bonus features. But that is a minor niggle considering how right Evolution Live got the rest of the game. 

Overall, Monopoly Big Baller is another strong release from Evolution Live, and is well worth a try if you are a fan of live game shows, Monopoly, or both.
