30 Coins has a simple, no-frills design, with a teal-coloured background that contrasts nicely with the shiny gold coins on the reels. The design seems to be Asian-inspired,and the framing around the six central reel positions makes it clear that filling it with symbols is the aim of the game.
The 80s electro soundtrack is lively and inoffensive, and the sound effects when you land symbols on the six central reel positions are similar to retro computer games.
The most common symbols on the reels are gold coins (called Cash symbols), but you will also find Mystery and Jackpot Mystery symbols, Cluster Collector symbols (which look like treasure chests) and Cash Infinity symbols (red coins) on the reels in the base game.

Cash Infinity feature
Red Cash Infinity symbols can appear on the reels during the base game. They will stick to the reels until the end of the Hold the Jackpot bonus game (if it is triggered). Cash Infinity symbols are essentially multipliers, which can multiply your bet between 5x and 10x.
Cluster Collector feature
These symbols are in the form of a treasure chest, and can also appear on the reels during the base game. Cluster Collector symbols accumulate the values of all Cash symbols (gold coins), Cash Infinity symbols (red coins) and Mini, Minor and Major Jackpot symbols.There are two types of Cluster Collector symbols: those that stick to the reels for between 1 and 5 spins, and those that stick to the reels until the end of the bonus game.
Hold the Jackpot feature
Fill the central six reel positions with symbols to trigger the Hold the Jackpot feature. The game begins with three spins, and each time you land a symbol on the grid the spin counter is reset to three. The aim is to fill the entire grid with symbols to win the Grand Jackpot prize of 1,500x your bet, but other prizes are available too.
The game ends when the grid is filled with symbols, or if no new symbols appear on the grid on your final spin. You will be awarded the value of the Cash (coin) symbols on the grid, plus any additional multipliers.
Mystery and Jackpot Mystery feature
At the end of the bonus game, the Mystery and Jackpot Mystery symbols will be transformed. As the name suggests, Jackpot Mystery symbols can only be transformed into jackpot symbols.
Mystery symbols can be transformed into any symbol except Cash Infinity.
Jackpot feature
Jackpot symbols can randomly appear during the bonus game, with a value of 10x, 20x or 50x your bet. The grand jackpot prize of 1,500x your bet can only be won by filling the entire grid with symbols.
Chance Level feature
This meter at the side of the reels gives you the option to increase your chance of triggering the bonus game by 2x, 5x or 10x. It also increases your bet by 2x, 5x or 10x.
30 Coins Final Thoughts
30 Coins is an interesting slot game where prizes cannot be won in the base game. Although this will seem unique and different to those who have not played any of the other games in Wazdan’s Coins series, in fact it is almost a clone of their earlier titles such as 25 Coins and 15 Coins.
Just like in the other Coins games the bonus game is where the excitement lies, but it is likely that the lack of prizes on offer in the base game might turn some players off before they reach the bonus.
Although the RTP of 30 Coins is marginally higher than 25 Coins, the lower maximum prize of 1,500x your bet (compared to 2,000x in 25 Coins) is a little disappointing.
That said, if you are yet to try a Coins game then 30 Coins is likely to keep you entertained, at least for a while. It would be nice to see some form of reward in the base game too, but if you are lucky enough to hit the Hold the Jackpot bonus game you could be in with a chance of winning some decent cash prizes.
