Barn Festival Symbols and Design
Barn Festival is a colourful slot game with a combination of fruit, veg, card suits and money pots on the reels. Although there are some nice animated details like hot air balloons in the sky and butterflies floating across the screen, I did find the design a little disappointing. A traditional farmhouse is visible in the background, but aside from the sweetcorn and aubergine symbols on the reels there is not much in the base game to suggest a barn/farm-themed slot.
If you manage to trigger the Money Respin feature you will be taken to a new screen where different modifier symbols can appear, including watering cans and spades, which is more in keeping with the theme.
The soundtrack does a decent job at setting the scene, with banjo twangs giving it a country feel. However, the music did remind me a little of a kid’s TV show and I found myself muting it pretty quickly.

However, it has to be said that the base game is a little dry and did not showcase the barnyard theme as much as you might expect from a game called ‘Barn Festival’.
