The Fire in the Hole 3 slot game has lots of special features to explore. Here’s some more information about them:

Collapsing Mine

Each spin begins with three active rows, but every time a new collapse occurs an additional row becomes available (up to a maximum of six rows). New collapses can be triggered by winning combinations, xBomb Wild Explosions, the Wild Mining feature or the xHole feature (more on each of those a little later on).

Lucky Wagon Spins

Land three or more gold coin symbols on the reels to trigger the Lucky Wagon Spins round. This is essentially a respins bonus which starts with three spins, and resets to three each time a new coin lands.During the feature, the top row will reveal Enhancers for each spin. Evil Dwarf - triggers a Golden Spin, which reactivates all coins in the reel area. Coins trigger their respective enhancers, boosting their existing values.

xHole - triggers 3 Frozen Wagon Spins where the top enhancer row only contains coins. All existing coins in the reel area collect the coin values from enhancers. 

Collect Chests - the bottom row of Collect Chests can be activated by Dynamites. When activated, Collect Chests collect the values on the reel above them on every spin. 

xBomb Wild Multiplier

Exploding xBomb Wilds remove adjacent symbols to increase the win multiplier by its value for the next collapse.

Wild Mining 

Wild Mining is activated within the base game when between three and five of the same symbols align horizontally but do not form a winning combination, for example when a symbol appears on all reels except reel 3. The triggering symbols will be removed, creating wild symbols in the middle positions of the alignment. If three symbols are removed, one wild is awarded. If four or five symbols are removed, two or three wilds are awarded, respectively. All positions above the bar will explode, except for Scatter or Wild symbols, and a new collapse will be triggered.

H3: xHoleThe xHole can randomly appear on the reels as a kind of black hole, drawing in regular paying symbols, then scattering them back to random positions with split symbols. The xHole then vanishes, causing a collapse. Winning symbols are paid and are removed before an xHole triggers, and landing multiple xHoles causes the symbol size to increase.

Fire in the Hole 3 is one of the most feature-packed games I’ve ever come across – and I’ve played a few! If you’re the type of player that enjoys games with complex features and thousands of ways to win, you’ll probably enjoy this one. If you’re looking for a more simple game, this slot might not be for you – but nevertheless, the game’s detailed theme and fun collapsing feature give it broad appeal.

The gameplay is entertaining, particularly when a series of collapses or an xBomb explosion clears the ice blocks from the reels to create more ways to win. The multitude of bonus features may seem a little confusing on paper, but when playing the game everything feels quite smooth and integrated.

The RTP of 96.05% is decent, and will appeal to lots of players. The maximum win of 70,000x your bet is also pretty impressive. Although it would have been nice to see a little more from the dwarf character and his even more elusive evil twin, overall this is a worthy addition to the Fire in the Hole series and another impressive addition to the Nolimit City catalogue.
