At first glance Fire Joker 100 doesn’t visually stray too far from the original Fire Joker - but a closer inspection does reveal Play’n GO’s update comes with a subtle graphical overhaul. The diamond background now has a slight glowing animation, as if it’s glass reflecting flames in the distance, while the reels get a similar diamond pattern whenever holding a stack of matching symbols. It’s still not the most spectacular-looking slot out there, but it does look the part as far as fruit machine-style games are concerned.

There’s no denying that Fire Joker 100 is a fine update of the original, but it ultimately doesn’t add much to that 2016 slot. The only real addition, in fact, is boosted multipliers on the Wheel of Fire, as this time around there’s a 100x segment added to the wheel. Well okay, the visuals have also been sharpened, but that’s par for the Play’n GO course so while it’s a nice looking slot we can’t say we’re too impressed here.
Ultimately, Fire Joker 100 is a great choice if you want to play a classic 3-reel fruit machine with a bit of modern spice. But if you want to play something more sophisticated? Then there’s a whole world of alternatives out there, including plenty of games from Play’n GO itself. Don’t get us wrong, this is a lot of fun for a few spins, but it’s just not too compelling in the long run.
