The low wagering limits, fair RTP and medium volatility rating are all positives which will help this game appeal to the majority of players. Probably the most disappointing factor is the top prize of 500x. While this is not untoward for Slingo games, it does not exactly excite us and gives the Slingo Wolf Snowstorm game more of a wolfish whimper than an alpha howl.
Overall I have rated the Slingo Wolf Snowstorm game 7/10. There are so many positives and potential shown in this game, making the areas where the game falls short all the more frustrating.
The lower number of base spins per game (just 6) will be a positive for players looking for faster gameplay, but a negative for Slingo fans who like to stretch their budget. The random wolf modifiers are definitely a stand-out feature. Still, it feels like they needed more finesse, with more of them operating along the lines of the ‘Snow Storm Respin’ modifier.
The 500x top prize does not exactly have me hyped, and when there is so much competition within the slots and Slingo markets, it is all too easy for players to read this number and go elsewhere without even spinning the reels. This really frustrates me, because what I think developer Slingo Originals was trying to do with Slingo Wolf Storm was to bridge the gap even more between Slingo games and online slots, with a multiple-column reel set appearing below the game grid, instead of a single one. Sadly, I think a lot of slot fans will look at the data for this game and give Slingo Wolf Snowstorm the cold shoulder.
