TNT Bonanza 2 Slot Review

The symbols in TNT Bonanza are all gemstones as you’d expect from a mine themed game. The way it’s laid out with the 6x5 format makes for a very colourful display where multiple symbols are on show at once. This can make it a little bit difficult to tell from first glance if you’ve won. 

But the gameplay is very fast so you don’t need to be able to tell straight away you can just watch as the gems match. If you’ve ever played Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza it is very similar to that. 

The graphics are quite brilliant. The game looks really good and has a smooth feel to it. You can tell it’s a modern slot release from the outset. The sounds are reminiscent of the old iPhone game ‘Bejewelled’, which was very popular for a reason. 

In a world where many slot games seem to abandon graphics, it’s always nice to see a brand that has taken real care when producing this part of their game. 

TNT Bonanza 2 has some neat features in the form of bonuses and just general in-play stuff that you don’t see at every single slot. 

Cascading Reels 

Cascading reels are prominent in a lot of slot games these days and for good reason. They make for brilliantly exciting gameplay and are just smooth to watch. The way they work is when a match occurs, instead of the win just being calculated, the winning symbols wil disappear and be instantly replaced with new ones. 

This makes for more potential wins and fun gameplay as a whole. 

Free Spins 

As is the case with most good slot games, there is a free spins feature in this game. It is activated by landing four scatter symbols. You get some enhanced spins that seem to have a higher likelihood of dropping multiplier bombs. 

The scatter symbols also pay out certain paylines as ‘wild symbols’.

This game is a fun one rto play, it has some cool features, a nice theme and is quite volatile, leaving the opportunity for some decent wins should you get lucky. The thing I would say it lacks is just originality. It feels like a reskin of Sweet Bonanza. There isn’t really anything significantly different about it.

Don’t get us wrong, it’s still a fun game to play and if you haven't played Sweet you won’t be bothered at all. But our ratings are based on a metric that applies to all players. 

The game still has some brilliant qulaities. A decent RTP as well as a very strong max win at 6500x makes the game worth a spin in our book. This game would be pushing 8-9/10 if it just had some more unique features. 7/10
