Mode One

Mode one starts with placing your first bet with a stake unit of one.

If it loses, continue to use the same stake and make a note of losses like so: L 1, 2, 3, 4

Continue to wager the same stake until you achieve a win.

After a win, remove the first number from your tally.

Like so: L 1, 2, 3, 4

The following number determines your next stake. In this case, it is two, so you bet two units. So, if one unit is £1, you would bet £2. If one unit is £7.50, you would bet £15 this time.

Continue betting in this manner until you profit, at which point you will return to one betting unit and reset the count.

Mode Two

If your loss tally reaches a point where the difference between the first and last numbers is greater than five, you enter mode two of Trioplay. Now, you need to remove the first TWO numbers to determine your stake after a win.

For instance, If you experienced eight losses before a win, your count would be:  L 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

Eight minus one equals seven, higher than five, so you would remove 1 and 2 to determine your next stake.

Like so: L 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

Now continue in mode two, crossing two off after a win to determine the next stake until you are back in profit.

For instance, if the next bet wins, you would stake five units because your count would look something like this: L 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

When you are back in profit, you can return to the first mode of the Trioplay system.

Mode Three

Mode three is where the stop loss comes in. If your loss count reaches higher than 12, you will remove three numbers.

Following the previous situation with five more losses would make our count look something like L 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13

If the next bet wins, you cross off three numbers to end up with L 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13.

Therefore, your next stake is eight betting units.

A safety net put into place by the Trioplay system requires you to reset the count if the sum of the count is greater than 100. Let’s say we follow on with a few more losses and end up with a count of L 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16. You would return to one betting unit because 8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15+16 = 108

Example

Now let’s see how this plays out with a starting budget of £250, and you use a betting unit of £10

First bet £10 = Loss = £240 L 1

Second bet £10 = Loss = £230 L 1, 2

Third bet £10 = Win = £250 L 1, 2

Fourth bet £20 = Win = £290

Now that you are back in profit, you can return to the single betting unit.

Fifth bet £10 = Loss = £280 L 1

Sixth bet £10 = Loss = £270 L 1, 2

Seventh bet £10 = Loss = £260 L 1, 2, 3

Eighth bet £10 = Loss = £250 L 1, 2, 3, 4

Ninth bet £10 = Loss = £240 L 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Tenth bet £10 = Loss = £230 L 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

11th bet £10 = Loss = £250 L 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

£10 = Win = £250 L 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

12th bet £30 = Win = £310

Now you are back in profit because you staked enough betting units.
