Lithuanian-based online bookmaker and casino 7bet is set to debut in the UK market, marking the first time it has been available in a country other than Lithuania.
The website is owned and operated by Anakatech Interactive Ltd, an operator that has been active in the UK since 2017.
A Challenging Market
The UK market can be notoriously difficult to crack, with many of the biggest operators in the industry being active and regulations stringent. The decision to move into the market has been influenced by increasingly difficult conditions in the Lithuanian markets, with gambling taxes increasing in recent years.
Anakatech Interactive Ltd already operates two brands in the UK: Lucky Mate and Winomania, both of which have been popular with British players. The company has already begun utilising the affiliate market space to attempt to build a following for 7bet in the country.

In a statement announcing the launch on Linkedin, 7bet said that it had not taken the decision lightly and that it knew it was entering a competitive market. However, it believes it can excel by providing an exceptional experience to UK players.

The 7bet site is now live, offering players a wide range of online slots to enjoy from some of the industry’s most established slot providers, as well as competitive odds across a range of different sports.
