Players at Bet365 will soon be able to enjoy even more virtual sports options, with the operator extending its partnership with Inspired Entertainment. This deal will see Inspired Entertainment provide Bet365 with access to all of its latest virtual sports products.
An Extremely Pleasing Deal
Brooks Pierce, President and CEO of Inspired, said that they were extremely pleased with the new deal. They spoke about the company’s pre-existing partnership with Bet365 and said they were excited to see what they could do together in the future.
Pierce described Bet365 as the world’s leading B2C provider of virtual sports. They highlighted the fact that Bet365 was the first operator to offer Inspired’s Multi-Stream Matchday and Basketball products and said that they were thrilled for them to be the first to take other licensed products to market.
Inspired Entertainment has been expanding its portfolio in recent years with the addition of basketball, football, and a women’s football game. Like others in the iGaming industry, the company has made a significant investment into the North American market and has had plenty of success there.
A Record Year for Inspired
Inspired Entertainment’s growth plans are clearly working, with the company achieving record numbers throughout 2022. The final quarter of the year was particularly strong, with numbers increasing across the board.
For Q4 2022, the company earned $78.6m, a 17% increase on Q3. It reported a 42% increase in gaming, 36% in virtual sports, and 9% in interaction. One of the biggest improvements was in net income, with the provider reporting a net income of $3.1m for the quarter, compared to a loss of $1.2m for the same period in 2021.
Inspired Executive Chairman, Lorne Weil, spoke enthusiastically about these results. He said that the results had been achieved in the face of significantly difficult currency movements and economic conditions and praised the company.
Inspired has been busy in recent months. In May, it extended its existing contract with Paddy Power, committing to providing the operator with access to its premium virtual sports product. It also teamed up with Codere, a leading Spanish company, to provide content for players in Italy, further expanding its European reach.
A Busy Month for Bet365
Bet365 has also been keeping itself busy throughout June. The popular sports betting operator has signed several content deals in key markets. It secured a deal with Greentube to provide content for players in the Netherlands, one of Europe’s fastest-growing markets in recent years.
US expansion has been the name of the game for Bet365, though, and it made its debut in Iowa thanks to a multi-year deal with Casino Queen Marquette earlier this month. This deal means that Bet365 is now active in five states, with Ohio, New Jersey, Virginia, and Colorado completing the count.
