Huge Exposure
Leading online casino and bingo website PlayOJO has agreed on a deal that allows them 120 seconds of adverts and branding during broadcasts of the popular ITV reality show Dancing on ICE. The branding will be featured on television broadcasts as well as on streaming services, such as ITVX and STV Player.
This new sponsorship deal will provide plenty of exposure for PlayOJO, with Dancing on Ice being one of the most popular reality TV shows at the start of the year. This year’s show began on January 12th and features 12 celebrity contestants.
The campaign will prominently feature the PlayOJO Bingo logo and promote the site’s signature campaign: “Sounds Like Ojo Time”, which first launched in October 2024. The advertising campaign aims to sell PlayOJO as a fun and vibrant online gambling website.
The “Sounds Like OJO Time” campaign portrays various characters who hear three tones that remind them of PlayOJO. The tones always come from unexpected places, such as cars, microwaves, and other everyday objects.

Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern host the ice dancing reality show, which features a range of contestants this year, including soap stars, reality TV stars, presenters, and sportspeople like footballer Anton Ferdinand and one of Britain’s greatest ever Olympians, Steve Redgrave.
The celebrity reality show started in January 2006 and ran nine series before ending in March 2014. Just three years later, ITV decided to revive the show for a tenth series, which started in January 2018, and it has continued with a new series every year.
The sponsorship is part of a wider marketing drive for PlayOJO as it aims to increase its presence in its native market. The company has also launched a series of videos on YouTube designed to assist new and returning casino players. The videos include tutorials such as “How to play online roulette” and other hints and tips like “Are you STILL making these blackjack mistakes?”. Most videos are two minutes long and feature cartoon graphics guiding players through casino processes.
