Brighton host Arsenal in the late Premier League game on Saturday and the Gunners have a chance to put a bit of pressure on frontrunners Liverpool this weekend.
The league leaders play on Sunday against Manchester United, so a victory for Arsenal would allow them to cut into Liverpool’s seven-point lead for 24 hours or so at least.
Brighton are winless in seven but have only lost two of those games. Albion need to find a way to turn the draws into wins if they are to keep their European hopes alive but they may struggle to get any kind of result against an Arsenal side who have won three last four across all competitions

Back Arsenal To Win And Concede
Arsenal had to come from behind to win at Brentford in their last Premier League outing. Saturday’s game against an out-of-sorts Seagulls may be a little more straightforward, but Mikel Arteta’s men could still concede in victory.
The Gunners are unbeaten in 12 and have won nine of those games and they’re coming up against a Brighton side who are winless in seven, and have just one win in their last six at home.
An away win clearly seems the more likely result but clean sheets have been an issue for the visitors. Arsenal have conceded in three of their last four overall and have really struggled for shut-outs on their travels, with their last away clean sheet coming back in October in a cup game at Championship side Preston - a run stretching eight games across all competitions.
Brighton have only failed to score in one of their last 17 games and they can at least grab a consolation effort on Saturday.

Jesus Enjoying Timely Revival
Gabriel Jesus was enduring a season to forget for Arsenal prior to hitting five goals in two games against Crystal Palace but that pair of performances have given him a platform to build on.
With key goal threat Bukayo Saka injured, Jesus’ resurgence is well-timed despite not being a like-for-like replacement.
The Brazilian was on target in the win over Brentford and now has six goals in his last four games and he can add to his haul at Brighton

Baleba A Card Contender
Brighton have picked up 39 yellow cards in total and five of those have been dished out to midfielder Carlos Baleba.
Baleba, who has previously been linked with a move to the Emirates, has also been sent off once this season and he looks a decent candidate for a card here.
The 20-year-old faces a busy 90 minutes in the holding midfield role against a mobile Arsenal attack and he averages 1.3 fouls per-game, so he may well end up in the referee’s notebook.
