England got their first win of the Lee Carsley era with a comfortable 2-0 success over the Republic of Ireland in the interim manager’s first game in charge.
The Three Lions play their first home game under the new boss on Tuesday when they host Finland, who were beaten 3-0 by Greece last time out and look unlikely to cause too many problems for the hosts.

High-Scoring Affair Likely
England ran out 2-0 winners in their first game under Lee Carsley but on another day the scoreline could have been much worse for Ireland.
The Three Lions registered nine shots on target and should really have put a few more past the hosts.
Carsley has been unashamed about his desire to play a more attacking style of football and England certainly have the players to do so.
Their strength in depth was evidenced by the fact that they brought the likes of Eberechi Eze, Jarrod Bowen and Morgan Gibbs-White off the bench against Ireland and they should be able to record a high-scoring win over this Finland side.
The visitors have lost 4-1 to Wales and 4-2 to Portugal in recent times, with three of their last five games going over 3.5 goals.
They were a touch fortunate to draw 2-2 with Scotland recently and they will have to produce something special against an England team that is littered with talent.
This is a team that scraped past San Marino 2-1 and have conceded nine times in their last three outings, and look in real danger of being severely outclassed in this one.
Take England to make their superiority tell and record a victory in a game that is also fancied to have over 3.5 goals.

Gordon To Take Chance
England missed plenty of opportunities against Ireland at the weekend and perhaps their worst culprit for that was Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon.
The forward had three shots on target and missed a number of one-on-one chances with the goalkeeper.
A player of his quality and pace is likely to keep getting in positions to score goals though and he is often England’s vertical threat with Harry Kane dropping deep.
Side with Gordon to get his first ever goal for his national team in this clash.

Kane Could Turn Creator
Harry Kane is England's record goalscorer but the striker has changed his game in recent years, dropping deeper to provide assists for his teammates as well as finding the net himself.
The Bayern Munich ace recorded 12 assists for the Bavarian giants last season and has already notched his first of the new campaign.
He created plenty of opportunities for his teammates against Ireland and could be the one to provide more on Tuesday.
