Verona vs Napoli
Antonio Conte begins his reign at Napoli with a visit to Verona on Saturday and the former Inter Milan and Juventus boss should make a winning start.
The former Italy boss has made winning starts at his last two Serie A sides and he meets a Verona side that are fortunate to be in the division.
After a huge exodus in January, Verona looked set for the drop to Serie B. However, manager Marco Baroni did such a good job keeping them clear of danger that he earned a move to Lazio.
Without him in the dugout, Verona’s prospects aren’t looking great this term.
Napoli have moved to cater their squad to Conte’s approach. Having won Serie A four times as a manager, he should get the most out of a Partenopei side that won Lo Scudetto in 2023.

NAC vs Ajax
Ajax have won their first four games of the season following Sunday’s 1-0 victory against Heerenveen.
It’s a far cry from last term, which saw them tumble into the relegation zone. While the club still has work to do, Sunday offers a chance to continue their 100% start in the league.
Ajax head to an NAC Breda side who were thumped 4-1 at Groningen in their first game of the season.
That was their second consecutive defeat by that scoreline, having lost the second leg of their promotion play-off against Excelsior back in June.
NAC Breda lost four consecutive pre-season matches before their opening weekend defeat, so take Ajax to cover a -1 handicap on the road.

Mallorca vs Real Madrid
Real Madrid won yet more silverware in midweek, becoming the most successful side in the history of the UEFA Super Cup.
They beat Atalanta 2-0 to lift the trophy, with the focus now turning to league action as they aim to defend their La Liga crown.
Sunday sends them to Mallorca and, while the Islanders had a solid campaign last term, they should struggle to stop the champions.
Real won 1-0 home and away to Mallorca last season and another victory by the same scoreline wouldn’t be a surprise.
Defensive depth is an issue that will catch up with Real at some stage, but their first-choice back four is healthy and Thibaut Courtois is back in goal.
Carlo Ancelotti has a solid base in midfield with Aurelien Tchouameni and Fede Valverde offering cover to the defence.
Back them to keep Mallorca quiet and claim a win to nil.
