Newbury is the scene for some Premier Raceday action in Britain on Saturday as the Berkshire venue stages the Greatwood Gold Cup.
The big race is due off at 15:45 and forms the centrepiece of a seven-race Newbury card from 13:20-16:50.
We've taken a close look at the feature race as well as some of the supporting contests at Newbury.
15:45 - Greatwood Gold Cup Handicap Chase (Premier Handicap, 2m4f)
Paul Nicholls has a stellar record in this race, with the Ditcheat chief winning it nine times since 2006, and his leading contender now is Kandoo Kid, winner of the Coral Gold Cup over 3m2f here in November.
He's rated 7lb higher now and is being touted as a Grand National contender, so there has to be some concern about the drop back in trip for the top-weight, but he's still quite lightly-raced for a nine-year-old and cannot be dismissed.
Nicholls also saddles Beau Balko, second in three starts since winning at Wincanton over this trip in November, and still on a seemingly fair mark under regular 5lb claimer Ben Bromley.
Billytherealbigred saw his hopes of a hat-trick falter at Cheltenham on Trials Day but that was behind the progressive Jagwar and joint-handlers Oliver Greenall & Josh Guerriero will feel there could be more to come from him. He's assured to be on any shortlist.
The choice is VINCENZO for trainer Sam Thomas, who really knows how to target these decent handicaps. His seven-year-old has wins at Windsor and Sandown either side of a New Year's Day second at Cheltenham behind Kalif Du Berlais. He's gone up 5lb for his latest success but this longer trip could eke out more improvement from a very lightly-raced chaser.
SELECTION: VINCENZO

13:20 - Veterans' Handicap Chase (3m2f)
The mare Quick Wave has been absent for two years but is one to note for Venetia Williams on her return, while Good Boy Bobby can perhaps put a poor run at Wincanton last month down to heavy ground and have hopes of rebounding now. He was in good tune earlier in the season and Nigel Twiston-Davies has Jamie Brace claiming 5lb now, although conditions could yet go against them.
Gustavian has been a touch in and out this season but can go well, though he was no match in the end for CREDO at Exeter over 3m in a decent veterans' contest at the start of the month.
Harry Cobden rode him stone cold that day and they came through smoothly to win in fine style. A 7lb rise may not prevent a repeat showing.
SELECTION: CREDO
NEXT BEST: QUICK WAVE
16:15 - Handicap Hurdle (2m4½f)
Olly Murphy and Sean Bowen will hope that there is still more to come from Eaton Anne after wins at Uttoxeter and Lingfield in preceding months. He did things in a very straightforward fashion last time and won't be put off by the extra distance now. He's unbeaten since having a wind op but the handicapper has taken a swipe with an 11lb rise in the ratings.
Hat-trick seeking pair Loverdose and Solar System must be considered but the hood may have an effect on LEMONCELLO for trainer Venetia Williams.
The French import shaped well on penultimate start at Hereford before racing much too keenly last time back there, but if the headgear does the trick, this mark of 117 might be one he can work with.
SELECTION: LEMONCELLO
