MK Dons vs Bradford City
MK Dons missed out on promotion to League One last season after suffering a humbling 8-1 play-off semi-final defeat to Crawley but they have been busy preparing for the upcoming campaign and have enjoyed an active summer transfer window.
No less than 11 new players have been added to the squad and that depth should see them put in a strong challenge for automatic promotion this term and they can get off to the perfect start at the expense of Bradford.
The Dons boasted the third-best home record in the division last season, collecting 47 points from 23 matches, and Stadium MK can continue to be a fortress for them.
Visitors Bradford lost 4-1 the last time they made the trip to Stadium MK, and while they are expected to push for promotion, they could be in for disappointment in their opening fixture.

Doncaster vs Accrington Stanley
Doncaster enjoyed a remarkable run of form to climb into the play-offs last season, collecting 43 points from February to the end of the campaign before being edged out by Crewe on penalties in the semi-finals, and they will be eager to get up and running quickly in 2024-25.
First up for Rovers is a clash against Accrington Stanley at the Eco-Power Stadium and the hosts should feel confident of picking up the win, as they had the fifth-best home record last term with 44 points amassed.
Accrington ended up 17th last term and a big reason for this low position was their away record, with just six victories obtained from 23 road assignments.
This looks a nice starter for Doncaster and it would be a surprise should they fail to get the job done.
DONCASTER TO BEAT ACCRINGTON STANLEY
AFC Wimbledon vs Colchester
Rounding off our accumulator is AFC Wimbledon's home clash against Colchester, who finished the previous campaign just one place and three points above the relegation zone.
It has been a summer of transition for The U's and it may take the new faces a little time to gel, so don't expect them to click straight away in what is a difficult trip to Plough Lane.
The Dons ended up five points off the play-offs last season and their home form had a big part to play, with 11 wins, six draws and six losses seeing them collect 39 points in their own backyard.
Matty Stevens and Joe Pigott have been brought in by Wimbledon this summer to boost the attacking options and this contest looks like ending in a home victory.
