Brighton will have the unenviable task of trying to stop Liverpool from reaching the top of the Premier League on Sunday afternoon when they clash with the Reds at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have a great chance to take the initiative in the title race with their rivals Manchester City and Arsenal facing off in Sunday’s later kick-off, but they may be made to work hard by the Seagulls.

Liverpool Likely To Win
The opportunity to go top of the Premier League should give Liverpool some added motivation ahead of their visit from Brighton, and they should have too much for the Seagulls on Sunday.
The Reds are unbeaten in their last 31 home games, winning a ludicrous 26 in that sequence, and have won 20 of their 23 matches at Anfield this term.
However, Brighton have lost only one of their last eight meetings with Klopp’s men and they may have enough to find the net.
The Seagulls have scored 10 goals in their last four clashes with Liverpool and, given the Reds have conceded in 10 of their last 11 matches, it could pay to boost the odds by backing the visitors to net on Merseyside.
Although, while they may have enough to net, it is difficult to see the Seagulls leaving Anfield with any points in hand, given they have lost five of their last six away fixtures, so take the home win alongside both teams to score.

Entertainment Expected At Anfield
Liverpool have been ruthless at Anfield all season, netting a ridiculous 73 goals in their 23 home games this term, and they look sure to help bring up a scoring total on Sunday.
Brighton have scored on their last four visits to Anfield, suggesting they will contribute to a high goals total too, and an overall exciting affair should be expected with Klopp’s attacking style and Roberto De Zerbi’s free-flowing football likely to provide a Merseyside spectacle.
Three of the last six meetings between the pair, including the last two at Liverpool, have seen at least four goals and plenty of net-bulging action should be expected on Sunday.
Craftsman Mac Allister Back In Form
The emergence of Wataru Endo in the defensive midfield spot of Liverpool’s engine room has seen marked improvement from one man in particular, Alexis Mac Allister.
The Argentine midfielder has enjoyed his new-found freedom going forwards thanks to his Japanese counterpart’s exceptional ability to cover ground in the middle, and he has now scored in his last three appearances for the Reds, notching big goals against both Manchester clubs in that run.
Mac Allister also netted against Costa Rica for Argentina before returning to Merseyside and has taken 19 shots in his last nine Liverpool appearances, suggesting he possesses all of the attacking tools to come back and haunt his former employers.
