Premier League Betting Tips - Final Day

After another thrilling Premier League season, the title will be decided on the final day as Manchester City and Arsenal look to secure top spot.

Defending champions City hold a two-point advantage going into the final day and know a win over West Ham will be enough to secure an unprecedented fourth consecutive league title.

Any slip ups from Pep Guardiola’s men and Arsenal can lift the trophy for the first time in 20 years, if they can beat Everton at the Emirates.

Manchester City vs West Ham

Even by Manchester City’s high standards, eight wins in their last eight matches is an impressive achievement to put them in the driving seat to finish top.

No other team has won the title in four consecutive seasons during the Premier League era and City go into the final match having scored 17 goals in their last five matches.

West Ham ended a six-game winless run with success over Luton last week and although they are unlikely to win at the Etihad, they are the type of team that could make life difficult for City – who are without goalkeeper Ederson and possibly Kevin De Bruyne.

MAN CITY TO WIN AND BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

Arsenal vs Everton

Arsenal can only look to beat Everton and hope for a favour from West Ham, who they only need to take a point off City as the Gunners have a better goal difference.

Mikel Arteta’s squad have won five on the spin in the league and have claimed victory in their last two home matches without conceding a goal.

Only Sheffield United have scored less goals than Everton and the Toffees look likely to sit back and try and make life difficult for the home side.

Arsenal should have enough though to eventually break down Everton and take the three points.

ARSENAL TO WIN TO NIL

Chelsea vs Bournemouth

The battle to qualify for the Europa League and Europa Conference League will also go down to the final day, with fifth and sixth still up for grabs.

Chelsea currently have sixth-place in their grasp but could yet overtake Tottenham and claim fifth and an upgrade to the Europa League. The Blues would need to beat Bournemouth and hope Spurs are beaten at Sheffield United.

Pochettino’s men have found their form in the final few weeks and Cole Palmer has been a big reason for this, the Englishman scoring six goals in his last six top-flight appearances.

COLE PLAMER TO SCORE ANYTIME

Brentford vs Newcastle

Newcastle need a win and Chelsea to lose if they are to secure a top-six finish, but they could still qualify for the Europa Conference League if Manchester City win the FA Cup.

It looks unlikely that the Magpies will overturn the deficit in the table, especially as they come up against a Brentford team that have lost just one of their last eight games.

Thomas Frank’s men have not lost any of their last five home matches (one win and four draws) and are fresh from a win at Bournemouth.

BRENTFORD DOUBLE CHANCE

Brighton vs Manchester United

With the FA Cup to come next weekend, there’s a chance Erik ten Hag will rest some of his key players for the trip to the Amex Stadium.

United’s away form doesn’t make good reading, with no wins in their last five on the road in the league.

Brighton have won the last four meetings between the two sides and will be confident of extending that run on Sunday.

BRIGHTON TO WIN

Burnley vs Nottingham Forest

Last month this looked like it would be a winner-stays-up encounter, but Burnley have fallen flat over the last fortnight and are already relegated.

Vincent Kompany’s team have leaked goals all season, especially at home, and Forest can add to their woes before the Clarets head back down to the Championship.

NOTTINGHAM FOREST DOUBLE CHANCE

Luton vs Fulham

Barring a last-day miracle, Luton will join Burnley and Sheffield United in returning to Championship.

Forest would have to lose and the Hatters win, with a 12-goal difference swing, for Rob Edwards’ men to pull off a great escape.

Luton have given a good account of themselves and they can finish the season with a home victory.

LUTON TO WIN AND BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

Liverpool vs Wolves

There are guaranteed to be tears shed at Anfield on Sunday, as Jurgen Klopp waves goodbye to Liverpool after nine years in charge.

The Reds’ players and fans will want to send Klopp off with a win, but football is very rarely that straight forward.

Goals look likely in this one, with three or more scored in four of the last six meetings between the two sides.

LIVERPOOL VS WOLVES - OVER 3.5 GOALS

Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa

Behind Manchester City, Crystal Palace are the most inform side in the Premier League with four wins and a draw in their last five matches.

With Aston Villa already assured of Champions League football next season, Oliver Glasner’s men can take another three points to end the season.

But the better play here is for Eberechi Eze to find the back of the net, something he has done three times in his last five outings.

EBERECHI EZE TO SCORE ANYTIME

Sheffield United vs Tottenham

After all the good work earlier in the season, Tottenham will feel their season will be a failure if they don’t secure fifth spot.

Against a Sheffield United side who have conceded over 100 goals - a record in the Premier League - it seems inconceivable that Spurs won’t win at Bramall Lane with something to spare.

TOTTENHAM -1 HANDICAP
