Two ailing sides from the traditional big six in the Premier League are in action in Sunday’s 2pm kick-offs, and home advantage is expected to play a key role in both fixtures.
Buoyed by a midweek Europa League win, Tottenham will be hoping to stop the rot in the top flight when they visit Brentford, while Manchester United return to Old Trafford after their own European adventure as they look to continue their recent resurgence.

Bees Can Pile The Pressure On Postecoglou
Brentford ended a three-match winless streak with a 2-1 win at Crystal Palace last time out, and they can follow that by adding to Tottenham’s woes on Sunday afternoon.
Admittedly, the Bees’ recent home form isn’t the best, but their four-match winless run in front of their own fans has seen them face all of the top four sides in the division, and prior to that they had taken 22 of a possible 24 points on home soil.
Tottenham picked up a couple of Europa League wins in recent weeks, but in the Premier League they have drawn one and lost six of their last seven games, and the increasingly under-pressure Ange Postecoglou finds his side 15th in the table and just eight points clear of the drop zone.
Spurs have scored in six of those seven games, though, and face a side yet to keep a clean sheet at home this term. Only the defensively woeful Wolves have seen more Premier League goals scored in their matches than Tottenham (83) and Brentford (82) this season, so a home win and both teams to score looks a solid pick.

Amorim Revival Can Continue For Red Devils
Manchester United ensured they would end the league phase of the Europa League as the only unbeaten side in the competition in midweek as they turned up the heat in the second half against FCSB, with a 2-0 win in Bucharest continuing the resurgence of the Red Devils.
Ruben Amorim’s side have lost only one of their last seven in all competitions, winning four of their last five following draws away to Liverpool and Arsenal. The performances aren’t quite there yet, but they are grinding out results, and that could point to another victory against Crystal Palace.
The Eagles saw their five-game unbeaten run come to an end against Brentford last weekend to leave them 13th in the table at the start of gameweek 24, and a ninth defeat of the season could be on the cards at a ground where they have lost three of their last four visits.
