The Premier League is back on Saturday with seven games to celebrate the return to action following the international break.

We have picked out four tips for the day’s slate.

  • TOTTENHAM TO WIN AND BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
  • ASTON VILLA DRAW NO BET
  • BRENTFORD OR DRAW DOUBLE CHANCE
  • BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE IN BOURNEMOUTH VS ARSENAL

Bet On The Premier League

Tottenham vs West Ham

Tottenham snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in their last Premier League clash before the international break, losing 3-2 away to Brighton despite being 2-0 up and cruising before their second-half collapse.

Before that Spurs had rattled off five wins in a row in all competitions, including a dominant 3-0 success over Manchester United.

They now face rivals West Ham, who have struggled to find their feet under new boss Julen Lopetegui despite their summer spending spree.

The Hammers have won just one of their last six matches in all competitions and have conceded seven in their last three outings.

Both teams have found the net in six of the last seven meetings between these two teams and they have both looked too open this season, particularly in midfield.

Tottenham are fancied to come out on top of what may well be an end-to-end affair between these London rivals. Side with the home team to win and both teams to find the net.

TOTTENHAM TO WIN AND BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

Fulham vs Aston Villa

Aston Villa were one of the stories of the last Premier League season, as they finished fourth to qualify for the Champions League for the first time since 1983.

They have picked up where they left off under manager Unai Emery this time around, losing just one of their opening seven league games and recording two wins from two in the Champions League, getting the better of Bayern Munich in the process.

Back-to-back draws against Ipswich and Manchester United before the international break have slightly taken the shine off their start to the season but they remain a tempting price when they visit Fulham.

The Cottagers have been solid to start the new campaign, taking 11 points from their first seven league outings.

Their recent record against these opponents leaves a fair bit to be desired however, as Villa have won five of the last six competitive head-to-heads between the two.

The Villans have lost only once all season, to title favourites Arsenal, and even in that game they had a number of chances that they spurned before the Gunners squeezed out a 2-0 victory.

Fulham have had a fairly soft fixture list but between this and their 3-2 loss to Manchester City last time out, they are now facing much tougher competition.

Take the stalemate out of the equation by siding with Villa in the draw-no-bet market.

ASTON VILLA DRAW NO BET

Manchester United vs Brentford

Manchester United have suffered many of the same issues that plagued them last season under Erik ten Hag, despite a considerable spending spree over the summer.

The Red Devils are winless in their last five games in all competitions and currently sit 14th in the Premier League table.

Thomas Tuchel accepting the position of England manager is a further blow, as the German had been favourite to replace Ten Hag.

Only relegation favourites Southampton have scored fewer goals than Manchester United’s five in seven games and they face a tough Brentford team who have caught the eye this season.

The Bees have won three and drawn one of their seven games but their three defeats have all been in tough away games.

Thomas Frank’s side have visited Anfield, the Etihad and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in their first three road matches, taking the lead at the latter pair before falling short.

A visit to Old Trafford can no longer be ranked alongside those as difficult away trips, and Brentford should be able to make their presence felt, particularly given the quick starts they have been making.

The Bees have netted in the first two minutes of their last four league games and could catch this Manchester United team cold.

The visitors inflicted one of the worst defeats of ten Hag’s reign when beating them 4-0 two seasons ago and they are worth siding with to strike another blow to the under-fire boss.

Back the Bees to at least avoid defeat in this one.

BRENTFORD OR DRAW DOUBLE CHANCE

Bournemouth vs Arsenal

Arsenal are favourites to win the Premier League title this term but they have not quite been impenetrable this season.

Both teams have scored in four of the Gunners’ last five league matches and the same is fancied when they make the trip to the south coast to face Bournemouth.

Mikel Arteta’s men have a considerable injury list to deal with at the moment and look set to be without some of their star players here.

Martin Odegaard, Oleksandr Zinchecko and Gabriel Martinelli are all set to miss out while Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and Ben White are all major doubts for this match.

With the Gunners missing some of their shining lights, the Cherries could have some success.

Andoni Iraola’s men have picked up where they left off last season, producing some eye-catching performances and punching above their weight considerably.

They rank sixth in the expected goal-difference table, just one spot behind Arsenal, and have been unfortunate not to get more from their recent results against Newcastle, Leicester and Chelsea.

Their off-the-ball work can be up there with the best and they should be able to get under the skin of Arsenal at what can be a difficult place to travel for away teams.

Take both teams to find the net in what may be an entertaining affair and a tough test for the visitors’ title credentials.
