A full midweek slate of Premier League action is taking place this week and there are six games across Wednesday and Thursday in England's top flight.

On Wednesday, the highlights include Liverpool tackling Newcastle at Anfield as well as Arsenal going to Nottingham Forest and Manchester City visiting Tottenham.

Thursday's concluding offering sees struggling Leicester make the trip to the London Stadium to face West Ham.

  • BRENTFORD AND EVERTON TO DRAW
  • BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE IN MANCHESTER UNITED VS IPSWICH
  • NOTTINGHAM FOREST VS ARSENAL UNDER 2.5 GOALS
  • TOTTENHAM TO BEAT MAN CITY
  • LIVERPOOL TO WIN & BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
  • WEST HAM TO WIN TO NIL

Brentford vs Everton

Everton have found a new lease of life under David Moyes and the Toffees are pulling away from the relegation zone in fine style after a run of six Premier League games without a loss.

Wins at Brighton and Crystal Palace have come in that run and the Merseysiders have discovered a scoring touch as they have bagged 10 goals in their last four games in the league.

A trip to the Gtech Community Stadium shouldn't unduly worry them either, having avoided defeat in their last two visits to this part of West London amid a run of five games with a defeat to the Bees.

Both Moyes and opposite number Thomas Frank have plenty of injuries to contend with and a share of the spoils could ensue.

BRENTFORD AND EVERTON TO DRAW

Manchester United vs Ipswich

Ruben Amorim's first game in charge of Manchester United came at Portman Road in November and it was a perfect start as Marcus Rashford scored in the second minute.

That was to prove a false dawn, the Tractor Boys battling back to earn a deserved 1-1 draw following Omari Hutchinson's curling strike before half-time.

The scale of the challenge in front of the Portuguese has been laid bare since, with just four wins in his 15 league games so far.

Ipswich have scored in all bar three of their away games in the league, including at the Etihad, Anfield, Villa Park and in their win over Tottenham.

Going to Old Trafford isn't the daunting challenge it once was and Kieran McKenna's side should give a good account.

BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE IN MANCHESTER UNITED VS IPSWICH

Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal

Saturday's home defeat to West Ham has left Arsenal's title dreams in the dirt, despite Mikel Arteta's assertion that it would be 'over his dead body' that the Gunners throw in the towel.

That first home league defeat of the season came at a calamitous time, after leaders Liverpool had threatened to wobble.

The Gunners now visit a Nottingham Forest side that can relate to a wobble, having lost three of their last four games in the league.

Nuno Espirito Santo's have the look of a sitting duck in the race for a top-four finish, with Manchester City and Newcastle three points behind them.

The Magpies tore Forest asunder at St James' Park on Sunday, with four goals in 11 minutes from the midpoint of the first half, the visitors having taken an early lead.

Arsenal's worries up front were laid bare as they fired a blank against West Ham. For all Forest's exploits this season, they had only scored 15 goals in 11 games at the City Ground in the league prior to a stunning 7-0 against Brighton at the start of the month.

No side has conceded fewer than Arsenal's 23 and goals could be hard to come by down by the River Trent.

NOTTINGHAM FOREST VS ARSENAL UNDER 2.5 GOALS

Tottenham vs Manchester City

The tide may have started to turn for Tottenham, but it's still very much on the drift for Manchester City.

Ange Postecoglou's side have won three league games on the spin for the first time this season after taking some revenge on Ipswich in a 4-1 win at Portman Road on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola meanwhile has suffered chastening reverses against Real Madrid in the Champions League and Liverpool on domestic duty in the last week.

Its four defeats in six across all competitions for the Citizens with 13 goals conceded in those loses.

They've lost twice to Tottenham this season by an aggregate 6-1 scoreline and have trailed for all bar 18 minutes in those two games.

City are hard to fancy in any scenario just now and Spurs may continue to have their number.

TOTTENHAM TO BEAT MAN CITY

Liverpool vs Newcastle

Arne Slot's Reds took a massive step towards the title on Sunday as they took care of Manchester City with about as comprehensive a 2-0 win as you will see.

Newcastle were in terrific away form prior to losing 0-4 at City this month, but Eddie Howe's side got back on track by defeating Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

The Magpies scored four goals in 11 first half minutes to lead 4-1 but the second half was uncomfortable for long spells for the home side.

Liverpool meanwhile haven't lost any of the last 24 Anfield clashes with the Toon Army and their 23-game unbeaten run in the Premier League should be safe here.

Fabian Schar equalised for Newcastle in the 90th minute when these sides met at St James' Park but Liverpool really should have won. This could be entertaining but the home side can continue their title march.

LIVERPOOL TO WIN & BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

West Ham vs Leicester

Leicester's bid for survival is on the rocks, having lost 10 of their last 11 league games, while Ruud van Nistelrooy's side haven't troubled the scoreboard in five of their last six games.

West Ham meanwhile produced the shock of the weekend when they beat Arsenal at the Emirates, a welcome success that pulled them away from the bottom four teams.

As things stand, it looks as though Leicester, Ipswich and Wolves are battling to avoid the two spots that will join Southampton in being relegated.

Leicester's struggles up top are only compounded by the fact Southampton were the only team that had conceded more goals entering this round of games.

Graham Potter's side have lost successive games at the London Stadium to Crystal Palace and Brentford without scoring. If they can find the net now, it will probably be enough for three more points.
