  • ARSENAL TO WIN & OVER 3.5 TOTAL GOALS

Bet On The Premier League

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Brentford

After going unbeaten in their first seven home games of the season in all competitions, the Seagulls’ form at the Amex has dropped off of late.

Fabian Hurzeler’s side have managed just one win in their last five home outings, although that was a 2-1 win over reigning Premier League champions Manchester City last month.

Friday could offer an opportunity to give the home faithful something to cheer about at the Amex once again, as Brighton play host to a Brentford side that have really struggled on their travels this season.

One has to go back to May 11th the last time Brentford won on the road in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory at Bournemouth thanks to late goals from Brian Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa.

Winning just two of their last 16 away games in the top flight, it’s hard to see Brentford leaving the south coast with anything to show for their efforts on Friday.

Six of Brentford’s last seven away league games have seen them lose and both teams scoring and it would be little surprise to see the trend continue this week in Brighton.

BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION TO WIN AND BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

Arsenal vs Ipswich Town

After the frustration of a goalless draw against Everton earlier this month, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have rediscovered their free-scoring ways, although that won’t come as much comfort to their next opponents Ipswich Town.

Having earned a 3-2 win at home against Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup, the Gunners went on to beat the Eagles 5-1 at Selhurst Park in the Premier League.

Next it’s back to the home comforts of the Emirates for the Gunners, as they face an Ipswich side who were thumped 4-0 by Newcastle United in their last outing at Portman Road.

Losing four of their last five games, the Tractor Boys are in need of points to avoid the risk of being cut adrift at the bottom end of the Premier League standings.

Ipswich, who have largely been a tough nut to crack back in the top flight this season, were poor at the back against the Magpies and this confident Arsenal side have the quality to put Town away in north London.

With that in mind, Arteta’s men to come out on top in a one-sided affair with at least four goals on the night appeals in this one.
