Sandy Ryan and Mikaela Mayer will settle their feud when the pair clash at New York’s Madison Square Garden in the earlier hours of Sunday morning.
Mayer has condemned Ryan for moving in on her patch, which subsequently forced the American to find a new gym, but that will matter little when the pair clash in New York.
Ryan’s WBO welterweight title will be on the line this weekend and the 31-year-old has looked in no mood to relinquish the title.
It’s a competitive betting heat too, with the bookmakers unable to split the pair and everything is set for a thrilling Madison Square Garden clash.

Sandy Ryan is a fighter firmly on the upgrade and the Derbyshire boxer can show her class with a victory over Mikaela Mayer.
The betting can’t split the pair, who clash in New York this weekend, but Ryan should be the clear favourite.
The 31-year-old produced a destructive display to retire former world champion Terri Harper in four rounds last time out and Ryan showed more in each and every fight.
Prior to the success over the Belter, Ryan had to settle for a split-decision draw against former WBA and WBC welterweight queen Jessica McCaskill, but that was a contest which the Derby dueller deserved to win.
There is a loss to Erica Anabella Farias on Ryan’s card, but that came early on in the 31-year-old’s professional career and the British fighter has done nothing but progress since that bout.
Ryan is a former Commonwealth gold medalist and there is likely to be plenty more to come from the gifted amateur in only her ninth professional bout.
Mayer is more experienced, but also more exposed and the peak may be in the past for the American.
The 34-year-old former unified world champion was beaten by Natasha Jonas last time out, there is also a defeat to Alycia Baumgardner on the Colorado fighter’s card and aside from a victory over Maiva Hamadouche, there is little strong winning form on Mayer’s record.
Ryan looks a cracking bet to see off the challenge of the American in New York.

Ryan produced an excellent and explosive display against Harper last time out and it ended in a stoppage victory for the Derbyshire fighter.
The 31-year-old landed a flurry of heavy shots in the opening three rounds of that bout, before the Doncaster fighter decided not to come out for the start of the fourth.
Harper’s best days may be over, but the Belter is a former world champion and she had no answer to the power of Ryan.
Mayer is an experienced former super-featherweight queen, but the American is a pretty stationary target and a toe-to-toe battle against the powerful Ryan is likely to lead to a British victory.
The 34-year-old has been an easy target to hit and it’s unlikely there will be a huge change in approach at this stage of her career.
Ryan is likely to prove too strong and too powerful for Mayer and a small bet on the champion stopping the America looks worth a punt.
