Women's PGA Championship Betting Tips

The Women's PGA Championship heads to Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Washington this week, the first time this venue has staged the Major since Brooke Henderson's triumph in 2016.

World number one Nelly Korda's dominance has eased off over recent weeks, with the American suffering two missed cuts in a row, and there could be value elsewhere heading into the tournament.

The likes of Atthaya Thitikul, Henderson and Lilia Vu will all be hoping for strong performances, as will Rose Zhang and Jin Young Ko.

It promises to be another enthralling battle for Major glory at Sahalee Country Club, which also hosted the 1998 men’s PGA Championship, and we have picked out three selections to keep an eye out for.

  • AYAKA FURUE TO WIN AND EACH-WAY
  • ALLISEN CORPUZ TO WIN AND EACH-WAY
  • MEGAN KHANG TO WIN AND EACH-WAY

Furue Set For Washington Glory

Sahalee Country Club will be a real test for the field this week and one area that will be key is accuracy off the tee due to the tree-lined fairways, so it bodes well that Ayaka Furue is fourth in this department.

The Japanese arrives in brilliant form, having racked up finishes of T7, T6, T2 and T8 in her last four starts, and it would be no surprise to see her in contention this week.

Furue is 16th in greens in regulation and seventh in putts per GIR, highlighting how consistent all areas of her game are.

The 24-year-old, who was T8 in last year’s PGA, was tied-sixth at the women’s US Open a couple of weeks ago and Major number one could be on the cards.

Corpuz Can Land 2nd Major

Allisen Corpuz broke her Major duck at the 2023 US Women's Open and, while her form since then hasn't been stellar this year, she arrives in Washington off the back of a tied-fifth finish at the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give.

The 26-year-old American leads in driving accuracy, a statistic that was so crucial to her US Open success last year, while she is 20th in greens in regulation.

Corpuz's long game is in good shape and if she can eke out any improvement with the putter, there looks to be every chance of a second Major coming her way.

Khang To Be In The Mix

Another player looking to win her first Major this week is Megan Khang, who was tied-third in last year's event and doesn't look to be far away from winning one of these prestigious prizes.

The 26-year-old is eighth in driving accuracy and 12th in greens in regulation, showing how good her tee-to-green game is, and a good week on the greens should put her in contention.

Khang will be full of confidence heading into the tournament following her tied-second finish at the ShopRite LPGA Classic and she can keep the momentum going by landing her first Major.
